Payments

General information:

Facebook releases payouts around the 21st of each month for earnings made in the previous month. For example, earnings made in January will be paid out around 21 February. Payments might take 3-7 business days to arrive into our bank, therefore your Facebook earnings are credited to your MC Pay account around the 25th-31st of each month.

Weekly Payments:

Facebook pays money to creators once a month. But in MC Pay, you can receive the money earned for the previous week immediately to your account. This is called weekly payments.

How weekly payments work:

The system studies data from Facebook Insights and calculates the creator's income for each week based on them. And it starts crediting it weekly to the creator's account in MC Pay. Weekly payments are calculated based on Earnings Insights from Creator Studio minus adjustment factor and Mediacube’s share.

Earnings from Creator Studio Insights are the approximate amount that you earned from your videos during a particular period. If recoupments or other deductions need to be applied to your payout, the approximate monthly earnings amount in Creator Studio might be different from the final payout that you receive that month.

Details:

If your video includes content (video and/or audio) that you don't have the rights to use, the person or business who owns the content might claim ownership and might receive a portion of the in-stream ad earnings for that video. When this happens, the claim is reviewed and a portion of your payout is withheld during the review process.

If the claim is settled in your favour, you'll receive the withheld payout with the monthly payout for the month when the decision is made. If the claim is settled in favour of the copyright holders, they'll receive the withheld payout and you won't receive a payout.

Adjustment factor varies depending on the amount of copyright claims you have on your Facebook Page, the deducted sum equal to adjustment factor will be refunded at the end of the month to your MC Pay account once we receive the final payout from Facebook. Around the 21st of each month, Facebook makes a payout, and MC Pay makes recalculations so that the creator receives exactly as much money as they earned.

Payout Account

Here you can view your earnings and payouts. Payout Account is only visible if you’re a payout account admin (you become a payout account admin automatically if you set up In-Stream Ads or other monetization tools on your Facebook Page).

Payout Account is split into 4 sections, where you can view the following:

  • Overview: Most recent payout and earnings.

  • Transactions: What you earned per month and earnings yet to be paid. When you got paid and the breakdown of earnings per payout source, such as your Page, app, contract or group.

  • Earning Sources: All earning sources (Pages and monetization tools) associated with your payout account.

  • Settings: Update your bank info, add or remove payout account admins.

  1. Click the drop-down icon at the top right corner of Facebook and select Settings & Privacy, then Settings - Account Settings.

  2. In the side navigation, click Payouts
    OR

  3. Follow the link to open your Payout Hub https://www.facebook.com/payout

  4. Click on the Payout Account ID dropdown, and select the account you want to view. If you have multiple Payout Accounts choose one and make sure that your Facebook Page is listed in the Earning Sources Tab of the selected Payout Account.

  5. To add someone as a payout account admin open Settings and scroll down to Payout Account Admins. You’ll need to enter your password when making any changes.

Payout Account Change

If you are already making money on Facebook, we will help you withdraw money in any convenient way: bank accounts, e-wallets, cryptocurrencies. With the MC Pay payment solution, you can receive income on your balance and manage it as you see fit.

To let us credit your Facebook income to your MC Pay account we need to link our Facebook Payout Account to your Page. There is no way to manually change a Payout Account which has been already linked to a Page, therefore in order to make a page transfer, we'll need to fill out a transfer document which will be sent and reviewed by Facebook Team, it must be signed by a payout account admin.

Required information to make a transfer:

  • Payout Account ID

  • Payout Account Name

  • Page ID (listed in Earning Sources in Payout Hub)

  • Financial Administrator Name (Must match User account name on Facebook)

  • Payout Source ID

  • Monetization product type

Alternatively, you can add our manager to your Payout Account as an admin, in this case we’ll fill out a transfer document on our own and make this procedure as smooth as possible for you.

Please note, earnings PRIOR to a month in which a transfer was made can't be transferred and will remain allocated in your payout account and paid out accordingly.

Future Earnings including from a month in which a transfer was made will be allocated to our Payout Account and paid out according to the payout cycle.

For instance, the transfer was made on May,30 - earnings prior to May will be paid out to your account, future earnings including from whole May will be paid out to us.

Once a Payout Account is changed to ours we’ll be able to credit your income to MC Pay account.

Limited originality of content guidelines

You may still get distribution and monetization for videos that include sourced or licensed footage, if you add value or meaningfully enhance their content. However, clarify your own original creative contributions to the footage.

Here are examples of meaningful enhancement:

  • A new person appears throughout the video to add information, such as in a video overlay with commentary.

  • Text or voice narration adds new information, such as when a sports Page adds statistics about an athlete into a clip.

  • The creator uses consistent editing throughout the video to add information, such as compiling clips about a person to tell their life story, or a top 10 list of products that adds price and performance details.

You may find more info on unoriginal content here.
