You started your own YouTube channel and want to earn money from it. How do I enable monetization? Let's get this straight.
Criteria the channel should meet:
1000 subscribers and above
4,000 hours of watch time over the past 12 months
The channel follows the rules of content monetization
How do I enable monetization if I meet all the criteria?
Login to your Creative Studio
Go to the Monetization tab
Click Start on the card " Learn the rules of the YouTube Partner program"
Link your AdSense account or create a new one*.
Now, wait for the YouTube team to check your channel:) The check takes an average of one month, so be patient.
*AdSense is a tool that allows users to receive money from Google. It is strictly FORBIDDEN to create 2 accounts in AdSense. You will have one for all your channels, websites, and so on. So when creating it, be careful if you don't want to deal with the consequences of creating a duplicate account for several months.
